Peregrine falcons are approximately crow-dimension-about fifteen to 21 inches extended-with a wingspan of about forty inches. Older people have slate blue-gray wings and backs bar with black; pale undersides; white faces with a black stripe on each cheek; and huge, darkish eyes. young birds are dark
